Trips, Tips and Travel
Our trips are compliant with the Government's social guidelines relating to Covid-19.
Subject to the discretion of the organiser (with members taking priority), field trips can be attended by non-members when accompanied by a current Club member.
Please let Ben know if you are attending a trip so you can be advised of changes such as cancellations, car-shares, or schedule changes. If you need to cancel please let Ben know asap as trips may not run if there are not sufficient people attending.

Field Trips for 2020/2021
With Covid restrictions we're tailoring our field trips to comply with regulations:

  • 10 October - Bushey Park
    Maybe see some rutting deer as well as the gorgeous landscapes, flora and fauna. Meeting at Anstey Park car park at 5.15am; leaving at 5.30am. Suggested gear: Long Lens(s) 70-200; tri/monopod; spare SD cards and batteries; warm clothing; waterproofs.
  • 18 September - East Tisted
    A good time to see the Milky Way (weather dependent). Meeting at 8.30pm at Church of St Peter and Vincula, GU34 3RX. Bring a tripod and wide-angle and/or smallest focal length, 24mm or similar.
  • August 2020
  • - Noah Hill, flora & fauna, landscapes.

    - New Forest, flora, fauna, wild horses.
