Alton Camera Club is made up of photographers of all ages and levels of experience from complete beginner upwards. We welcome new members who share our enthusiasm for photography, whether using a digital or film camera or a mobile phone.
We provide a comprehensive and varied programme of lectures, presentations (some by Zoom), practical sessions, competitions and other events giving members the opportunity to improve, experiment, learn new techniques and receive feedback. There are opportunities at some of our talks to meet nationally and internationally acclaimed photographers and discuss with them their individual and personal approaches to their art.
We have a healthy programme of field trips both locally and further afield. Outings have included Highgate Cemetery, London’s East End, Marwell Zoo, Hurst Castle and Auto Grass racing at Four Marks.
If any member needs help or advice on any aspect of photography, more experienced members will be pleased to answer questions or arrange instruction where possible.
